Baptism of Life.
Meaning: Church Baptism does not wash away original sin, only the blood of Christ can do that. This Baptism of Life happens when we go through the Path of Salvation for in the end, this is what is achieved: original sin , the cause of all sin that can lead to our demise, is removed and we are restored to life.
Does this mean then that church Baptism serves no other purpose than just a rite of passage? No, it is a ritual wherein one is claimed to belong to God. If you note, God uses the prayer of baptism for exorcism.
